In general, the best time to visit Milan is from spring to autumn with the possible exception of May when it rains a lot.
In winter, it often freezes and snows, so the winter months are not very suitable for hiking.
In summer, temperatures rise above 30°C and sometimes a thunderstorm can surprise you.
