Tips for the trip
Book your accommodation in advance - Milan is a popular destination, so we recommend booking your accommodation well in advance, especially if you plan to visit during fashion week or other events.
Sights tickets - If you plan to visit popular sights such as the Duomo or La Scala, buy tickets online in advance to avoid queues.

Public transport - Milan has an efficient public transport system, including the metro, trams and buses. But also prepare comfortable shoes, because here you can also enjoy long walks through the historic streets and squares.
Clothing – if you are going to the fashion city, your clothes should be tasteful and comfortable. If you are planning to visit a well-known establishment or restaurant, you should dress elegantly. When visiting churches or cathedrals, cover yourself sufficiently.
Safety - Milan is generally a safe city, but as in other big cities, you should watch out for pickpockets, especially in crowded places, as in from of the Duomo.
Gastronomy - Don't be afraid to try local specialties and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. Milan has many great restaurants and cafes. For example, Osteria Conchetta offers typical Milanese specialties such as antipasti, risotto and meat dishes in a romantic setting decorated with wine bottles (Via Conchetta 8, Milano).
